Does the app upload my photos anywhere?

No. All scanning, duplicate detection and compression happen entirely on your device. Photos and videos are never transmitted to our servers.

Why does the app need photo and video permissions?

It needs to read your media files to find duplicates, large files and unused content. It does not need write access to modify files without your confirmation.

What happens when I delete a file in the app?

The file is moved to your device's normal trash/recycle mechanism where supported, or deleted directly. Always review the selection screen before confirming.

Why do I see ads in the app?

Ads, served through Google AdMob, keep the core cleaning features free. You can see how this works on the AdMob Privacy Policy page.

How do I opt out of personalized ads?

Open Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, and turn off ad personalization, or opt out from within the app's consent form if shown.

Is my data sold to third parties?

No. We do not sell personal data. The only data shared with a third party is the advertising identifier, shared with Google AdMob for ad delivery.

How do I delete my data?

Since file scanning is on-device, uninstalling the app removes all locally processed data. For any diagnostic data we hold, email us and we'll process a deletion request.
