Overview

Free AI Storage (com.freeaistorage.cleaner) is a free Android utility that helps you find duplicate photos, large videos, blurry images and unused files on your device so you can review and remove them. This policy explains what data the app accesses, what — if anything — leaves your device, and how advertising works inside the app.

Free AI Storage is designed to scan and manage files entirely on your device. We do not require an account, and file contents are never uploaded to our servers as part of the core cleaning features.

Data the app accesses

To scan your device for duplicate, large or unused files, the app reads:

  • Photos, videos and audio files, via Android's scoped media permissions
  • Basic file metadata: file size, file type, creation date and folder location
  • Device storage totals, used to display your storage overview

This information is processed locally on your device to power scanning, duplicate detection and the cleanup suggestions shown in the app.

On Android 13 and later, the app uses scoped media permissions rather than broad storage access. You can review or revoke any permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Free AI Storage → Permissions.

Advertising (AdMob)

Free AI Storage is supported by ads served through Google AdMob (publisher ID: pub-3213879595263591). AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, and may show personalized ads based on your consent choices. For details, see our AdMob & Advertising page.

Third-party services

  • Google Play Services — app distribution, licensing and core Android services
  • Crash and analytics tooling — used in aggregated, non-identifying form to keep the app stable

Data retention & deletion

Because file scanning happens on-device, we do not hold a copy of your photos, videos or audio on our servers to delete. Aggregated diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed for stability monitoring and is not linked to your identity. If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request.

Children's privacy

Free AI Storage is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of personalized advertising. You can manage ad personalization in your device's Google Settings, and reach us directly for any other request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
